The South London Gallery is a contemporary art gallery in Camberwell, south London. Its origin is in the Victorian period. It has an active ongoing series of shows and events, including some of the best known contemporary artists, and has staged ground-breaking shows.
The birthplace of oval track racing in the UK and the first ever BriSCA Formula One Stock Car Racing took place at the New Cross Stadium, London on Good Friday, 16 April 1954. The final was won by car 11, Chevalier D'Orgeix. Racing continued here until 1956. Three meetings also took place in 1968 whilst Harringay was being revamped.
The cemetery features in a number of scenes in the movie, Melody (1971 film).

City Road on the London Underground is a disused tube station. It was one of the stations built when the City & South London Railway (C&SLR) (now part of the Northern Line) opened its extension from Moorgate to Angel on 17 November 1901. It is located between Old Street and Angel.
