5 Canada Square is a 16-floor office building in the Canary Wharf development in London, England.
The nearest tube station is Canary Wharf serving the Jubilee Line, which can be reached undercover via Canada Place shopping centre, and Canary Wharf DLR station serving the Docklands Light Railway. A bus service ran to London City Airport, now replaced by the Docklands Light Railway.
Canada Square is a public square at Canary Wharf, on the Isle of Dogs in London's Docklands. It is in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets in the eastern end of Central London along the River Thames. Canada Square is surrounded by the three tallest buildings in the United Kingdom[specify], including One Canada Square, which has been the tallest building since 1990. The Canadian connection is from the original developers of the site, Olympia and York, owned by Paul Reichmann family of Toronto, Ontario.
North Finchley is a suburb of London in the London Borough of Barnet, situated 7 miles (11.3 km) north-west of Charing Cross.
The main entrance is in Nether Street; there is a small front garden between the pavement and the building containing the booking office, though it is not accessible to the public (there are high fences on each side of the path). Access to the north-bound platform by wheelchair and with push-chair is straight-forward, though it is necessary to cross a footbridge to reach the south-bound platform. Although there is an entrance directly onto the south-bound platform, it is only open during the morning rush hour. This small entrance was closed for security reasons during the weeks following the 7 July 2005 London bombings although it has now reopened.
