Packing your metal items requires to protect them first. There are a lot of metal elements all around your home. You will realize this when start packing, dismantling and collecting all join pieces. But you should watch out for the bigger metal items such as bycicles, mowers, scissors, knifes and some tanks and boxes.Metal surface items too.Consider if you should move them or use the garage sale and take away from your packing list.If you decide to move your bycicle you can oil the special elements before this in reason to avoid to have them rust after the move. You can treat with oil youir mower too and some other metal stuff which you will find in the garage and the shed.Avoid oil staining by storing exposed items in separate spaces.Take care for the wall clocks too as they have a special clockwork which need regular maintenance.Wrap the metal items with acid free and waterproof paper. It is recommended to use paper rather then plastic packing matreials.Do not leave them for storage too long time.
